COFFINE GURUNARU

Today I went to Coffine Gurunaru after spending time at Bandi&Luni’s bookstore. The word “Coffine” is combined by “coffee” and “wine. The ambience is nice and stylish, giving a quiet place for you to read a novel while sipping your cup of coffee. Coffine Gurunaru is a coffee chain so you can find it mostly every where in South Korea.
The picture above was taken at the outside sitting area. (No I’m not a smoker if that’s what you’re thinking!) It would be nice to just sit down and watch people passing by in this quiet area unlike the busy downtown. I ordered a dish of honey butter bread, which costed me 4,800 won. It does come along as a set with an Americano at 7,800 won. I used to eat at a coffee shop in Apgujeong, the name is Bann I think, but the original price was much higher if I hadn’t used the coupon. So look out for coupons on major sites such as ticketmonster or coupang!

They even sliced the bread nicely for us! The size is approximately 10cm by 10cm, with a huge yummy whipping cream and tasty honey sauce. Devour it while it is still hot and you can feel the bread melting in your mouth!
